Short version: if you ask for a free disclosure check, we keep your email address and your website address until we’ve sent you the report, plus a short while after in case you reply. Then it goes. We don’t sell it, we don’t add you to anything, and you can have it deleted immediately by asking.

That’s the complete list. There is no analytics script on this site, no advertising pixel, no session recording, and no cookie banner — because there are no cookies to consent to.
Who else touches it
- Formspree receives the form submission and forwards it to us by email. See their privacy policy.
- Cloudflare hosts this site and processes request logs as part of serving and protecting it.
Nobody else. We don’t share your address with third parties, and we don’t use it to train anything.
Scanning
When you submit a URL, we fetch that site’s public homepage the same way a browser or search engine would, and look at the served HTML. We don’t log in, don’t bypass anything, and don’t collect personal data from the page. Our scanner identifies itself honestly in its User-Agent.
We only scan a site when someone asks us to, or as part of published aggregate research where no individual site is named without reason.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us to show you what we hold, correct it, delete it, or export it, and you can object to us processing it. Email hello@batcave.no and we’ll action it — realistically within a day or two, and always within the statutory month.
If you think we’ve handled your data badly, you can complain to your national data protection authority. In Norway that’s Datatilsynet.
Changes
If this notice changes materially and we still hold your address, we’ll tell you before it takes effect.
